On account of Cauvery water sharing crisis resulting in blow to Karnataka in the recent Supreme Court judgment the state is in commotion. The bandh, strikes, protests have not yet calmed down.

With a very disgusting situation for the people of Karnataka, Kannada films for release have deferred the release.

As already announced four films were supposed to come up on silver screen or 16th of September. The first one to defer release is ‘Sipayi’ of Siddarth Mahesh in the direction of Rajat Mayi is  Releasing Next Week on 23rd .

Cauvery Water Issue bandh, strikes, protests Peoples are not coming to theateras so  deferred release with tension around.

On the other hand three films in Kannada before the riots and disturbances – Neer Dose, Mungaru Male 2 and Goli Soda collections have affected steeply.

Mungaru Male 2 suffered Rs.3 crores revenue for two days while it is roughly 75 lakhs of rupees for Neer Dose that was doing well. The ‘Goli Soda’ film got good opening is suffering in collections because of Cauvery riots and curfew in Bengaluru 16 localities for last two days.
